Plants are pretty, but do they really make a difference? Hospitals, assisted living facilities, nursing facilities and the like use tropical plants to promote good health. The use of plants inside buildings aids in the cleansing of the air. The Plants for Clean Air Council (PCAC), recommend one potted for each 100 square feet of floor space.
Live plants provide the much needed humidity that we don't always get indoors. The therapy plants provide for patients is phenomenal according to studies done by Dr. Roger Ulrich of Texas A&M University.
"Plants lower blood pressure, putting patients more at ease with their visits and stays. Patients heal faster than those not exposed to live plants and busy health care employees derive the much needed stress reduction as well."
If image wasn't important, we wouldn't dress up or tweek our appearence. Of course it is important to look your best. If you are one of our Five Star resorts or a smaller boutique hotel, you can trust that your standards will be the same as ours.
